    The aim of this subject is to get familiar with the main steps of the designing process. Applying the acquired knowledge of their preliminary study, students can examine the behaviour of structures trough numerical examples. Design of loadbearing structures subject together with the Introduction subject frames the static and strength materials, summarises the knowledge about stuctures and points forward to higher-year special subjects.
